Cow Ballet

The Cow Ballet Fundraiser will take place in Woodenshoe Park in Peoa today from 4 p.m. until the cows come home, about 8 p.m. The ’80s band Bow Wow Wow will headline the event. Kumbaya Kitchens will provide a catered barbecue; there will be dancing, a fishing pond, competitions and an auction. Tickets are $30 at the gate and kids 12 and under are free. Tickets are available at Summit and Wasatch County 7-Eleven stores, Orions Music, or by calling 901-7664.

Classic Car Show

Oakley City and the OOFCC Car Club will present the first Annual Fall Round-Up Classic Car Show today from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Oakley Recreation Complex. There will be trailer parking, RV hookups, concession stands, raffles, a disk jockey and a park and skate park for kids. For more information, call (435) 783-5658

Newcombers membership luncheon

The 11th annual event will take place Sept. 13 at the Empire Lodge at Deer Valley starting at noon. All new members to town and existing members are invited. For more information, call 615-6636.

Charity Golf Tournament

The Building Balance Charity Golf Tournament, sponsored by the Park City Board of Realtors will take place Sept. 14 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Soldier Hollow. All of the proceeds will go towards Habitat for Humanity in Summit and Wasatch counties. For more information, call 655-5166.
