Farmers’ Market starts June 2
The Canyons hosts the first Farmers’ Market of the season today, June 2, from noon until 6 p.m. in the Cabriolet parking lot. Stop by for fresh produce, fresh baked bread and arts and crafts from local vendors. Planting in Park City
The Wildlife Protection Society will present the second seminar in its wildlife education series Thursday, June 3, at 6:30 p.m. in Room 109 at the Park City Library. Ann Barrett from the Park City Nursery will discuss planting in the Park City area. Learn about plants that thrive in a mountain environment and get tips for solving landscape problems. Barrett is the author of "High Altitude Planting: A Practical Guide to Landscaping, Gardening and Planting Above 6,000 Feet."
Newcomers’ monthly coffee
Join the Park City Newcomers’ Club on Wednesday, June 9, at 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Park City Community Church, 4501 S.R. 224. The speaker will be Karin Carestia, a pharmacist who specializes in compounding prescriptions. Learn how a pill can be turned into a liquid, gel or cream. Carestia recently opened Alpine Apothecary in the Jess Reed Building in Park City.
