Joy2Learn Fundraiser

The Joy2Learn Foundation will host a fundraiser benefiting arts education in local schools on Friday, Sept. 3, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the St. Regis Deer Crest Resort. Joy2Learn provides Internet-based art programs to students at no cost to the community. The event will feature music by renowned pianist Alan Gampel, casual supper, wines by Parallel Napa Valley and a auction. Tickets are $175. Newcomers’ Luncheon

The Park City Newcomers’ Club will host its annual membership luncheon with speaker Sarah Pearce, Director of Operations for the Sundance Film Festival, on Wednesday, Sept. 8, at Escala Lodge at the Canyons. Learn about Newcomers’ special interest groups and upcoming activities and invite friends to join. ARTSPARK Classes There are a few spots left in each of ArtSpark’s after-school art classes, starting the week of Sept. 13 at local elementary schools and at Ecker Hill Middle School. Elementary classes meet once a week from 3 to 5 p.m. for six weekd. Classes at Ecker Hill meet on Mondays from 3:45 to 5:30 p.m. Tuition is $120 for six weeks, all supplies and a sketchbook included.
