Searchers find Ohio man

Searchers found a 61-year-old Ohio man Sunday who was lost in the Uinta Mountains for almost two days. John Youngerman was located near Kings Peak at roughly 10:30 a.m., Summit County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Josh Wall said.

Youngerman was flown in a helicopter in good condition from where he was found to a Sheriff’s Office command station east of Kamas. Youngerman was hiking when he was located.

He was last seen hiking with others near Kings Peak in Duchesne County Friday at about 1 p.m., Wall said. Kings Peak, which is the tallest mountain in Utah, is near the Summit County line.
