Several phone calls were received by the Summit County Dispatch Center reporting people lighting off fireworks in neighborhoods on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Other reports received by the dispatch center included:

December 19

A grey Mitsubishi with expired plates was reported by multiple callers to be driving recklessly in the Basin.

A woman in the Basin reported that her mentally handicapped son was receiving threatening phone messages from a former friend.

Two unattended horses and a pony were reported on the Kilby Road near Gorgoza Park.

A Basin resident reported finding a loaded gun in a "random" box and requested that a deputy come and pick it up.

The owner of a business in the Basin reported that someone tried to dump a large amount of trash into his store’s dumpster and missed. The man said he found shipping boxes with the person’s name on them who he believes is responsible.

December 20

A clerk at the Tanger Outlet Mall in the Basin reported a male was trying to conduct a fraudulent return.

A man in the Basin reported being locked inside his storage unit and the emergency storage number was not working.

December 21

A North Summit resident reported suspicious males were walking around an apartment complex trying all the doors.

Two cars in North Summit were reportedly blocking snow plow access.

A South Summit resident reported receiving suspicious text messages.

A single vehicle accident was reported on Highland Drive at 11:24 p.m. The driver suffered minor injuries.

December 22

A Basin resident reported her five-week-old child was locked in her vehicle.

A South Summit resident reported some packages were stolen from her front porch.

December 23

A business in the Basin reported a customer was threatening store workers and refusing to leave.

Two different shoplifting incidents were reported at businesses in the Basin.

A Basin resident reported his business partner resigned from the company and stole a $1,500 computer.

A North Summit resident reported a single vehicle accident in the Pine Meadow Ranch neighborhood but was unable to see any occupants of the vehicle.

A North Summit resident reported a car had been idling in front of her house for over an hour.

December 24

A North Summit resident reported a driver in a black SUV was harassing her while she was driving on S.R. 32 near Browns Canyon.

A Basin resident reported a man and his children were sledding on a hill near his house that is private property.

A Basin resident reported a coyote was walking near a road in Pinebrook and the caller was concerned for its safety.

December 25

A Basin resident reported seeing a male and female pushing each other at the Tanger Outlet Mall at 2 a.m.

A South Summit resident reported seeing a male crash his vehicle into a ditch at 5 a.m on State Road 32. The caller said the man appeared to be intoxicated.

A North Summit resident reported his son was intoxicated and threatening family members with a gun.

A North Summit resident reported her friend stole her car at 8:30 p.m.

A Basin resident report their chicken coop caught on fire at 11:30 p.m. They said all the chickens were outside the coop and they extinguished the fire but wanted the Park City Fire Department to come and make sure the fire was completely out.
