Snowmobile drivers reportedly stray onto private property

by Jay Hamburger OF THE RECORD STAFF

The Park City Police Department last week received a complaint that snowmobile drivers had strayed onto private property, but public police logs offered limited details.

On Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 2:57 p.m., someone on Lucky John Drive called the police complaining that snowmobile drivers were using private property. Public police logs did not identify a block number for the case. Lucky John Drive is a highly traveled Park Meadows street.

The snowmobiles, the police were told, were a "hazard to residents," according to the logs. The caller was an official in a homeowners association, the person told the police.

The Police Department rarely receives complaints about snowmobile drivers in neighborhoods like Park Meadows.
