Demo Tuesdays at ZBAdventures

ZBAdventures is offering $10 Demo Tuesdays on its top-of-the-line Salomon Classic and Skate equipment and a 30-minute free first-time lesson to get you jump-started. PC Recreation Futsal League

High Country Fly Fishers

On Wednesday, Feb. 1, at 7:30 p.m., High Country Fly Fishers, the Park City chapter of Trout Unlimited, will hold their monthly meeting upstairs at St Mary’s Catholic Church on State Route 224. This month’s meeting will feature Eric Aune of the Platte River Lodge and The Reef Fly Shop near Casper, Wyo. He will be speaking on fly fishing the North Platte River. North American Youth Sports basketball tourney

North American Youth Sports (NAYS) will hold its annual spring youth basketball tournament in the Ogden/Salt Lake City area at Rocky Mountain Junior High School on March 30-31. This tournament will feature 10 different brackets: 5th-6th grade boys; 5th-6th grade girls; 7th grade boys; 7th grade girls; 8th grade boys; 8th grade girls; 9th-10th grade boys; 9th-10th grade girls; 11th-12th grade boys; and 11th-12th grade girls. All grades are based on the grade in which a student is currently enrolled. The entry fee is $105 and guarantees each team a minimum of two games. There will be awards presented in each bracket. The entry deadline is March 9. Full Moon snowshoe hike

The annual Full Moon snowshoe event is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 4, from 5:30 p.m. until the cow jumps over the moon. The cost is $20 per person. (There is no discount for children as space in the shed is limited and this event sells out early every year.) Tickets are on sale at the Park City Library. Snowshoes are available on site, but folks are encouraged to bring their own, along with headlamps, warm clothing and their favorite beverage. Adult-only open-skating session/group class

Park City Ice Arena invites all adults to take a skating lunch break and join the fun lunch bunch to "’ICE’ercise." On Wednesdays, from noon to 1 p.m., the arena will offer an adult-only open-skate session which will include an adult ice-skating class from 12:30 to 1 p.m. open to skaters of all ability levels. Register for a six-week session or drop in weekly. Registration fees cover: 30-minute class, practice time, skate rental, and a punch card for three open-skate sessions.
