Basin Rec Spring Break Camp

Basin Recreation is holding a spring break camp April 9-12 for kids ages 6 to 12. The cost is $100 for the week or $30 per day. Join in for arts and crafts, swimming, games and sports. Start Smart Soccer

Start smart soccer is starting again. This one-on-one parent/child program creates an environment that any child can learn from and have fun. Start smart soccer is for kids ages 3 to 5 years; the program runs Saturdays at Willow Creek Park. High Country Fly Fisher

On Wednesday, April 4, at 7:30 p.m., High Country Fly Fishers will hold its monthly meeting. The meeting will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on S.R. 224. The speaker this month will be Mark Forslund, the owner of Four Seasons Fly Shop in Heber City. He will talk about fishing the middle Provo River.

Beginning Fencing for Juniors

The Park City Fencing Academy at the Park City Day School in Pinebrook is holding Beginning Fencing for Juniors from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on the following Tuesdays and Thursdays in April: April 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24 and 26. All new students get a free introduction to fencing and a free April membership. The beginning fencing class will just be one hour, with open fencing afterwards. The academy has numerous national medalists and students fencing at Princeton, Brown, Duke, and Stanford as well as other schools. Parent-Kid Skateboard Clinic

Come join Park City Recreation where parents and kids can learn to skateboard together. For ages 5 years and older all abilities welcome. Youth Spring Baseball & Softball

Youth baseball and softball offered by Basin Recreation and Park City Recreation will start the week of April 23. The deadline to register is April 8. Youth Lacrosse

Youth Introduction to Lacrosse offered by Basin Recreation is the perfect time to introduce the game to youngsters. The program is designed for kindergarten, coed and first- through third-grade girls. The registration deadline is April 14. The league will be held at the Basin Recreation Fieldhouse on Saturdays starting on April 21 and running until June 2. Youth Spring Volleyball

Spring volleyball offered by Basin Recreation is now open for registration. Participants will learn fundamental skills of the game and how to apply them into a game setting. Fencing Classes at Silver Mountain Club

New sport-fencing classes offered by the Utah Swords Academy at the Silver Mountain Club in Kimball Junction are open to the public with registrations already being taken at http://www.ufencing.com . The first session begins April 3. Come try a fast and fun Olympic sport.

Park City Youth Lacrosse

Join the fastest-growing sport in Utah. Registration for Park City Youth Lacrosse’s spring session for girls in grades four to eight and boys in grades one to eight is now open. Practices began March 29 and games will be played from April 21 to June 2. Players must be registered with Park City Youth Lacrosse, Utah Lacrosse and U.S. Lacrosse to participate. Tennis clinic for adults

PC Tennis is offering a beginners’ clinic for adults every Saturday morning from 10:30 a.m. to noon. This is a great way to learn tennis in a fun, noncompetitive environment. Wasatch Back Relay Training at PC MARC Running the Wasatch Back Relay this year, or just need some motivation to run? Go to the PC MARC. The PC MARC has designed a training regimen that will prepare runners for all 36 legs of the race. Registration is $10, and training begins April 11. Dryland Conditioning at the PC MARC

The PC MARC is offering dryland conditioning on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Adults will meet for six weeks from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Youth athletes ages 12 to 18 will meet for four weeks from 3 to 4 p.m. Registration ends April 16.
