Hole-in-one

At the Park City Golf Club, Julie McMullin had her first hole in one on Hole No. 13 from 125 yards out, using a 9 iron. The shot bounced six feet in front of the pin and rolled in. Congratulations to Julie, who is also the Club Champion for the ladies 18-hole league at the Park City Golf Club.

Hole-in-one

Roz Cohn also had a hole-in-one Wednesday afternoon on Hole No. 13 at the Park City Golf Club using her four-hybrid. Gerry Cohn was a witness.

Park City Ute Youth Football Registration

Registration for the 2012 Ute Youth Football Conference Season is now open. Children ages 8 to 14 living in the Park City School District boundaries are welcome to register. The season begins July 30 and runs through October. The fee is $265 plus a $50 volunteer fee refundable with seven hours of volunteer service. Fees cover: season rental of top-of-the-line equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, practice pants, game pants, socks and mouth guard) and two jerseys your player may keep with an embroidered name on both jerseys. Fourth of July 5K Fun Run

Kick off the Fourth of July with the 30th annual 5K Fun Run and, along with Cole Sport, Industrial Supply, Chase Bank, Silver King Coffee and PC Lock and Key, help support the kids of the Park City Ski Team. Adults can pre-register for $30 and kids under 12 for $20 at Cole Sport by 5 p.m. July 3, or online at http://www.runnercard.com. Moms On Bikes

Park City Recreation is offering weekly drop-in mountain-bike rides that are for moms and led by moms. Join or stick with it every week and watch your ability improve while you make new friends. Rides are Wednesdays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. starting June 27. Ride locations vary weekly; e-mail Karen at karen@parkcity.org for weekly updates.

2012 Summer Skate Series

Don’t miss out on the action in Utah’s premier skate-competition series. Park City Recreation will be hosting competitions on Saturdays June 30, July 28 and Aug. 25 at Park City Skate Park. There will be street and bowl divisions based on ability. Advance and day-of registration will be accepted. Summer Learn-to-Skate Camp

Beat the heat and hit the ice at the Park City Ice Arena’s fun ice-skating camp June 18-22. This camp is for recreational skaters ages 4 and older who are able to stand and skate on their own. Previous class experience is not required. Camp hours are 8:45 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday. Campers will enjoy two group on-ice classes, practice time and an off-ice activity daily. Learn to Skate, Learn to Play Hockey classes

Fine-tune your skating and hockey skills this summer and get ready for the season ahead. Summer Session 1 classes meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 19, 21, 26 and 28, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The Park City Ice Arena offers skating classes for all levels, ages 3 to adult. Hockey is available to those future players, ages 6 to 14, who have passed the Snow Flurries Learn to Skate class in hockey skates. Junior Golf Camp

Registration for junior golf camps at the Park City Golf Club is now open. Children ages 7 to 12 are eligible and the scheduled time for each session is 9 a.m. to noon. 34th Annual Park City Soccer Camp

Coach Randy Farris returns to Park City Recreation’s summer camp to offer a high-quality exciting opportunity for soccer skill development. Half- and full-day sessions are offered that include games, challenges, scrimmages, competitions and guaranteed fun. Camps are offered June 18-22, June 25-29 and July 9-12. Registration is open now. PC Tennis youth summer programs

Park City Tennis has registration open for its youth summer programs. Join the summer junior camp or mini-camp for clinics taught by USPTA-certified tennis professionals. Masters’ Swim for Adults

Get off your bike, get off the road and get into the pool: Masters’ swim classes for adults are offered Monday through Friday at the PC MARC, 1200 Little Kate Rd., from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. This coached swim program is great for triathlon training, endurance building, fat shredding and total body conditioning.
