Guided trail hike July 28
Explore Basin Recreation’s vast trail system with a guided hike this Saturday, July 28, at 10:30 a.m. starting at the Park City Community Church. The hike on Rob’s Trails will last an hour to an hour and a half. Be sure to pack sunscreen and lots of water. PC MARC Family Field Day and 5K
Come to the family field day and 5K at the PC MARC Saturday, Aug. 11. The family 5K will begin at 8:30 am with a finish at the PC MARC where everyone can enjoy field day events for the kids, bounce houses, and free giveaways from local health vendors from 9 to 11a.m. Finish-line vendor and field day activities are free! August Lunch and Learn
The PC MARC invites the whole community from noon to 1 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every month for the wellness education Lunch and Learns, where local speakers discuss topics concerning your overall wellbeing. Upcoming in August is Dr. Jeffrey Prickett and Lisa Fountain focusing on homeopathy, natural medicine and use of essential oils. For more information call 615-5401.
Trekking and trail-running class
Silver Mountain Sports Club & Spa is offering a free trekking and trail-running class suitable for all fitness levels each Tuesday from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. A qualified fitness instructor leads group out on local trails.
