Playoff basketball

For the first time since 2002, the Park City High School boys’ basketball team will be playing a playoff game at home. The game is set to begin Saturday, Feb. 20, at 7 p.m. The opponent is Cedar City from Region 9. Look for more information in Saturday’s paper.

Tennis night

The Park City Racquet Club, in coordination with the United States Tennis Association, is pleased to announce Tennis Night in America, Friday, Feb. 26. A free clinic for adults, juniors and families of all abilities will be hosted by tennis pros from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Park City Racquet Club. Tennis clinic & match

The Park City Racquet Club, in coordination with the United States Tennis Association, is pleased to announce an afternoon and evening with Australian Open Doubles Champion Scott Davis. Scott Davis was formerly # 11 in singles and # 2 in doubles in the world. Clinics with Scott and the Racquet Club Tennis Pros will be on Saturday, Feb. 27, 3:30-6 p.m. Cost is $50 and space is limited. Following the clinics, there will be an exhibition doubles match showcasing Scott and several other pros. This event kicks off the Racquet Club’s hosting of the Men’s National 40s Indoor Championships which begins Monday, March 1. Youth soccer league

Park City Recreation is now accepting registration for children ages 4 years old through fourth grade for the spring youth soccer league. Games will be played on Saturdays and some Wednesday evenings at Willow Creek Park beginning April 17. Registration deadline is March 29. Volunteer coaches are needed for every team. Basketball camp

On June 7-10, HSBCAMPS will hit the courts of Park City High School to lead four-day morning clinics and day camps geared towards teaching and developing the fundamentals of basketball for boys and girls in grades kindergarten through 12. There will be a morning clinic for grades K-3 from 8 to 9:50 a.m. The cost to attend is $99. The day camp, for grades 4-12, will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $250. From group drills and individual contests to team competitions and guest lectures, players will participate in instructional work with the HSBCAMPS staff, comprised of collegiate and professional coaches and players. Every participant will receive a camp T-shirt, as well as other prizes provided by sponsors. Availability is limited.
