Still needed: a radio studio

by Jay Hamburger OF THE RECORD STAFF

City Hall plans to sell KPCW space in a building under construction in Swede Alley for $924,676.

The Park City Council Thursday could authorize staffers to finalize the sale. Alison Butz, the City Hall official handling the deal, says the radio station would get the upper floor, totaling 2,000 square feet.

City Hall is negotiating to lease the lower floor to Utah liquor officials to open a liquor store. Butz says the building will be completed April 15, 2008, and KPCW will move in a month after that.

The cost includes KPCW’s share of the architect fees and tenant improvements.
