Students earn Eagle Scout ranking

Boy Scouts spent numerous volunteer hours earning merit badges

Five Boy Scouts from Troop 250 of the Toll Canyon LDS Ward were appointed to the Eagle Scout ranking last week by the Boy Scouts of America. The scouts got the title by earning the required number of merit badges and completing their Eagle projects. The Eagle projects included collecting stuffed animals for the Summit County Sheriff’s department, volunteering at a winter clothing drive for the Road Home shelter, putting together hygiene kits for the LDS Humanitarian Center, and collecting items for Primary Children’s Hospital.
