Results of the Summit County School Board elections, held Nov. 7, 2006 are as follows:

In the Park City School Board race:

In the Park City School District 5, Charles Cunningham defeated Michael Boyle, 556-509, 51.67 percent to 42.30 percent. Cunningham fills the seat vacated by Kathryn Adair, who is stepping down after two terms.

Kim Carson was reelected to represent District 4, running unopposed. She received 1156 votes, or 99.23 percent.

In the North Summit School Board race:

North Summit School Board 4: Philip B. Geary defeated Thomas W. Toole, 182-141, 56.35 percent to 43.65 percent.

North Summit School Board 5: Vern Williams defeated Jana K. Ross 226-212, or 51.36 percent to 48.18 percent.

In the South Summit School Board race:

South Summit School Board 4: Philip Marchant was reelected.

South Summit School Board 5: Matt Flinders defeated Karl Wagstaff 150 to 98, or 60.48 percent to 39.52 percent
