According to the Summit County Attorney’s Office, the following cases were heard on Monday, March 11, in 3rd District Court at the Summit County Justice Center:

Butch Harris Luffman, 41, of Park City, entered guilty pleas to two violations of a protective order, both class A misdemeanors. Sentencing is scheduled for April 22.

Leslie Ann McSherry, 27, of Salt Lake City, entered a guilty plea to forgery, a third-degree felony. Sentencing is scheduled for May 6.

Daisy Marie Pena, 29, of Park City, entered a guilty plea to possession or use of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor, and retail theft, a class B misdemeanor. The court imposed a one-year jail sentence and a $500 fine for possession or use of a controlled substance and imposed a 180-day jail sentence for retail theft. The court suspended those sentences, placed her on court probation for 12 months and ordered her to pay a $500 fine and complete other standard terms and conditions.

Sabrina Tsao, 30, of Park City, entered a no contest plea to assault/threat of violence on a health care provider, a class A misdemeanor. Sentencing is scheduled for April 22.
