Court report: Park City woman sentenced to 62 days in jail for aggravated assault

According to the Summit County Attorney’s Office, the following cases were heard on Monday, April 22, in 3rd District Court at the Summit County Justice Center:

Trisha Jo Sherlene Albretsen, 39, of Kamas, entered a guilty plea to theft by deception, a third-degree felony, and forgery, a third-degree felony. Sentencing is scheduled for June 17.

Jenal Rene Downing, 37, of Gaffney, South Carolina, entered a guilty plea to attempted possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, a class A misdemeanor. The court imposed a one-year jail sentence and a $2,500 fine. The jail sentence was suspended. The court placed her on court probation for 12 months and ordered her to pay a $2,500 fine and complete other standard terms and conditions.

Zoe E. Oper, 57, of Park City, entered into an 18-month plea in abeyance to theft by receiving stolen property, a third-degree felony. The court ordered her to pay a $300 fine and complete 40 hours of community service and other standard terms and conditions.

Stephanie Marie Ure, 38, of Kamas, entered a guilty plea to DUI, a third-degree felony. The court imposed a sentence of zero to five years at the Utah State Prison. The prison sentence was suspended. The court placed her on supervised probation for 24 months and ordered her to serve 62 1/2 days in jail with credit for six days served, pay a $1,500 fine, and successfully complete the Summit County Drug Court program.

Quinton Eric Larson, 56, of Lehi, entered a guilty plea to DUI, a class A misdemeanor. Sentencing is scheduled for June 3.

Dexter Dale Decker, 25, of Lyman, Wyoming, was sentenced for the offense of DUI, a third-degree felony. The court imposed a sentence of zero to five years at the Utah State Prison. The prison sentence was suspended. The court imposed a 62 1/2 day jail sentence. The court placed him on supervised probation for 36 months and ordered him to serve other standard terms and conditions.

Naconna Eve Ewing, 21, of Park City, was sentenced for the offense of aggravated assault, a third-degree felony. The court imposed a sentence of zero to five years at the Utah State Prison. The sentence was suspended and the court imposed a 90-day jail sentence. The court suspended 28 days of the jail sentence, placed her on supervised probation for 36 months and ordered her to serve 62 days in jail, pay $3,749.91 in restitution and complete other standard terms and conditions.

Sabrina Tsao, 30, of Park City, was sentenced for the offense of assault or the threat of violence on a health care provider, a class A misdemeanor. The court imposed a one-year jail sentence. The sentence was suspended. The court placed her on court probation for 24 months and ordered her to complete 40 hours of community service and other standard terms and conditions.
