  • Sharon R. Cuevas, 31, from Miss., was pulled over on April 25 on Interstate 80 for reportedly drifting out of her lane twice. Daniel Ray Ladner, 48, of Miss., was sitting in the passenger seat.

    During the stop, Cuevas allegedly admitted the vehicle may contain methamphetamine, and that she was on felony probation for drug possession, according to the charging documents.

    The police dog used to detect narcotics indicated he smelled illegal drugs on the front and rear passenger doors.

    A search of the vehicle revealed two glass pipes containing methamphetamine and a small ziplock bag.

    Cuevas was charged with third-degree felony possession or use of a controlled substance, class B misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and class C misdemeanor failure to stay in one lane.

    Ladner was charged with third-degree felony possession or use of a controlled substance and class B misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Her initial court appearance is scheduled May 6. His roll call hearing is scheduled May 6.

  • According to charging documents, Leopoldo Casteneda Gonzalez, 44, of Park City, sold methamphetamine to an undercover officer in the Kimball Junction area on several occasions between March 5 and April 17.

    Gonzalez was charged with six counts of second-degree felony distribution of or arranging to distribute a controlled substance. His role call hearing is scheduled May 6.
