July 12-14, 2017

A four-year old boy was found wandering barefoot around a neighborhood in the Snyderville Basin on Sunday, according to the Summit County Sheriff's Office.

At around 3:12 p.m., dispatch received a report that a neighbor had found the child walking alone on a Basin road, a report states. He was later reunited with his parents and appeared unharmed.

Lt. Andrew Wright said the parents did not receive a citation and no charges are pending. He said it appears the child left the home without his parent's knowledge.
