Meeting cancelled

The Summit County Council meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 4, has been cancelled. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held Wednesday, Feb. 11, at the Summit County Courthouse in Coalville.

Public hearing notice

The Eastern Summit County Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing to address a proposed conditional use permit request by Rocky Mountain Power at on Thursday, Feb. 5 at 6 p.m. at the Kamas City Office, 170 North Main Street, in Kamas. The permit request is to upgrade the transmission line between Coalville and Silver Creek, replacing approximately 300 poles.

The Snyderville Basin Planning Commission will conduct its second public hearing regarding amendments to Phase 2 of the General Plan on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 6 p.m. in the Sheldon Richins Building, 1885 West Ute Blvd, in Park City.

Panel Discussion

The Park City Project for Deeper Understanding is hosting a panel discussion focused on the topic: "Sustainability and Transformation: What is the Future of Summit County?" The event is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 5 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 4595 Silver Springs Drive, in Park City.
