Utah Department of Transportation installs wildlife fencing on Interstate 80

The Utah Department of Transportation began installing the first phase of wildlife fencing on the westbound side of Interstate 80 near Jeremy Ranch on Friday. UDOT partnered with the Summit County nonprofit organization Save People Save Wildlife to install the fencing to reduce the number of vehicle and wildlife collisions that occur along the stretch of interstate near Parley’s Canyon. The $100,000 project is being equally funded by UDOT and Save People Save Wildlife.
