Swaner Frog Talk and Walk

Recently, 5,000 Columbia spotted frog tadpoles were released on the Swaner Preserve. Join the preserve as they celebrate their success. Find out where they are now as wildlife biologist, Chris Crockett, discusses their historical distribution in Utah, threats to survival, and re-introduction efforts. Following the talk, take an evening tour of the habitat the frogs calls home. The talk is technical and geared for adults and the walk is informal and kid friendly. Meet at the Swaner EcoCenter at 6 p.m. if you are interested in the talk. For the walk portion only, meet at 6: 30 pm. Reservations for this lecture are required and there is a $5 fee for non-members. To RSVP, please contact us at 435-649-1767 ext. 113 or Savannah@SwanerEcoCenter.org.
