‘The End of the Line’ at Swaner EcoCenter
The Swaner EcoCenter Environmental Film series is showing the film "The End of the Line" on Wednesday, July 15. The evening will start at 6 p.m. with a light dinner on the deck from Maxwell’s, followed by the film and speaker at 6:30 p.m. "The End of the Line" premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. The film shows the consequences of overfishing oceans and the effects of a global love affair with fish as food. This month’s speaker, Phaedra Budy, is an Associate Professor at Utah State University, will discuss conservation challenges to fish native to Utah. Tickets are $6 for members, $12 for non-members, and half price for children. RSVP required to nell@swanerecocenter.org .
