Local filmmakers to crawl out of the woodwork

Thursday, Nov. 29 at 7p.m., the Jim Santy Auditorium will be dedicated to showcasing hidden artistic treasures lying deep within Park City. Local filmmakers and photographers will presents their works-in-progress, risky experiments, and photographs. The program will include 90 minutes of material, with a Q&A after. The auditorium is located at 1255 Park Ave.

Give thanks

"Worship & Pie," a community celebration of Thanksgiving Worship will be offered by the Park City Interfaith Council today. Bring packaged food to give, pie to share and rub elbows in worship with like-hearted people. All food and monies will support local assistance programs. Worship begins at 6:30 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church at 4595 Silver Springs Dr. behind the Blue Roof off S.R. 224. The event is open to the public.

Sundance Film Festival passes still available

A limited number of passes to the 2008 Sundance Film Festival are still available but they’re going fast, according to the Sundance Institute. Visit and click on "visit the box office."
