Mountain Trails Foundation

Most lower elevation trails are still in good shape. Lost Prospector, Glenwild and Round Valley are in wonderful condition at this time. For more information, visit

Wasatch-Cache National Forest.

Mirror Lake Highway, S.R. 150 is still open to motorists. All but the two non-gated campgrounds are closed for the winter. Cross-country trails will be opened and groomed once there is enough snow. For more information, call 783-4338.

S.R. 92 (Alpine Loop) Closed to Motorists

The Utah Department of Transportation advises motorists that the segment of State Route 923, from Pine Hollow to Aspen Grove (milepost 15 to 22), is closed for the winter. The Alpine Loop is a seasonal highway and the cost to keep the road open during the winter months is not practical due to heavy snowfalls in the area. This section of road will remain closed until Spring 2008.
