Two killed in crash on Mirror Lake Highway

A man and a woman from Centerville, Utah, were killed Saturday afternoon when their motorcycle collided head on with a 2004 Buick.

The victims were by the Utah Highway Patrol as: Ross Bartholomew, age 63, and his wife Patricia Bartholomew, age 59.

The two males in the Buick reportedly, were not injured.

According to UHP, at 2:38 p.m. Saturday, June 16, a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling westbound on State Road 150, also known as the Mirror Lake Highway, when it crossed the centerline and hit the oncoming Buick.

The accident occurred six miles east of Kamas and according to the UHP, the two-lane scenic byway was closed for about two hours while emergency crews were responding.

The two victims died from injuries sustained in the crash and were pronounced dead at the scene.
