Two Rainbows side by side

Shiona Howard

Two rainbows side by side,

Birds chirping in the trees,

The damp air, smells like rain,

Filled with peacefulness,

With the sun high in the sky,

Children and dogs play,

In the fresh air,

Drinking fresh Pink Lemonade,

With excitement,

Red, Gold, and orange maple leaves,

Falling to the ground from the blowing wind,

Fallen leaves in the cold brisk air,

Just makes you feel sleepiness,

Untouched snow in the forest,

Hearing the rivers around me freeze,

Smelling the sweet smell of Maple syrup being made,

Oh, the taste of sweet warm Maple syrup,

Gives you the feel of playfulness,
