Utah Tourism Conference comes to Canyons Grand Summit
Utah’s 8th Annual Tourism Conference will be held at Canyons Grand Summit hotel May 11-13th. The conference is co-sponsored by Utah’s Travel Industry Coalition and the Utah Office of Tourism.
The UTIC is dedicated to connecting businesses, associations, chambers and organizations with a shared interest in the state’s tourism economy.
The three-day conference will enable representatives to learn, build relationships and network with local business vendors.
Pre-conference meetings will be held on the morning of May 11. Specific committees meeting are Utah’s Hotel & Lodging Association and The Utah State Scenic way Committee.
The "Working Together Session" held on May 11 will offer insight into summer marketing strategies and plans from County Travel Councils and the Utah Office of Tourism. Marketing groups are encouraged to attend.
Registration for the conference will be held May 12 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Each year the conference proves to be a great way to gain knowledge and insight into Utah tourism and is especially applicable to professionals in the industry.
Any college students looking to attend will be offered a discounted rate by presenting their college ID upon registration.
