Vandals strike bus stops

City worker Raul Edgar collects broken glass Friday morning at a bus stop in Old Town that vandals struck late Thursday night.

The Public Works Department says the vandals smashed the glass at six bus stops, including the one on Park Avenue across the street from the Park City Library and Education Center, pictured.

Phil Kirk, a Police Department captain, says it appears someone used a BB gun, a pellet gun or rocks to break the glass. The police are investigating, but Kirk says officers do not have a suspect.

People with information may call the Police Department at 615-5500 or the department’s anonymous tip line, 615-5847.
