Voters cast early ballots

PR

Summit County Clerk Sue Follett reported Tuesday afternoon that 400 people had voted in Coalville as the county continues to allow people to vote before Election Day.

Early voting at the County Courthouse in Coalville extends until Friday. Hours are from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Follett said the number of people voting early does not surprise her.

The ballot is loaded and includes candidates for Summit County, Statehouse and congressional offices. There are a number of ballot measures that voters will decide as well, including whether to reshape Summit County’s form of government and open-space and recreation bonds.

For more information, call the clerk’s office. The number from the West Side is 615-3203 and from the East Side it is 336-3203.
