Weather blamed for power outage in Old Town
More than 1,000 Rocky Mountain Power customers lost service Thursday afternoon.
The company said 1,164 customers in Park City were impacted by the outage. It began at 2:04 p.m. and ended at 3:21 p.m.
A Rocky Mountain Power spokesperson said the weather caused a down power line at the intersection of Deer Valley Drive and Aerie Drive. The affected customers were along Main Street and nearby streets, according to the company.
The Park City Police Department continues to investigate a series of vehicle burglaries in the overnight hours between Monday and Tuesday, indicating most of the cases were on the same street in Old Town.
