Katie Gold and Michael Sharp were joined in marriage on April 28, 2007.
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Alice Gold of Wethersfield, Conn. The groom is the son of Elaine Sharp of Mansfield, Ohio and Dr. Robert Sharp of Queensbury, N.Y.
The bride recently accepted her dream job as a sports researcher with ESPN in Bristol, Conn. She was formerly a project manager and the product manager for online retailer Backcountry.com in Park City. She is a 1996 graduate of Loomis Chaffee School and a 2000 graduate of Williams College in Williamstown, Mass., where she received her bachelor of arts degree in economics. She also received her MBA with a specialization in sports business at the University of Oregon in 2004.
The groom is the business development manager for NossaTV.com, and will be establishing the east coast office upon relocating this summer. He is also a lieutenant commander and officer in charge of a reserve unit in the U.S. Navy Reserve. He is a 1990 graduate of Queensbury High School and 1994 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy.
The couple currently resides in Park City. They are relocating to Connecticut this spring.
The Park City Police Department continues to investigate a series of vehicle burglaries in the overnight hours between Monday and Tuesday, indicating most of the cases were on the same street in Old Town.
