Youth Theatre announces fall classes

Submitted by The Egyptian Theatre

The Egyptian Theatre University of Utah Youth Theatre in Park City is proud to announce its fall schedule of classes. The collaboration of The Egyptian Theatre and The University of Utah was a great success with summer camps and the fall schedule looks to be even more promising.

The aim in these classes is to build on students’ past experience and give them a deeper knowledge of themselves. exploring the world of drama, students learn to work with others, to understand and express their feelings, and to appreciate how discipline goes hand in hand with creativity.

Fall classes start Sept. 13 and run through Dec. 16. There are classes for students in kindergarten through high school. Classes are divided into four categories: Act Up for kindergarten through second grade; YT Academy for grades 2 through 5, YT Ensemble for grades 5 through 8 and YT Productions for grades 8 through 12.

The Ensemble and Productions classes will be integrated into the fall performance of "Frog and Toad," a musical that follows two great friends, the cheerful and popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad, through four fun-filled seasons.
