Letters, Jan. 21-24: This constitutes a crime?

I agree with Amy Roberts’s opinion regarding the incident between Jeremy Rubell and the ski instructor (“Driving the conflict,” Jan. 10). This should never have been criminalized. The ski instructor has apparently been annoying Jeremy for a while and the result was a shouting match with a few swear words thrown in. This constitutes a crime? If that’s the case, I should be charged with a felony pretty much every Sundance. Very disappointed that the county attorney would elevate this to that level. Hopefully the court dismisses this but, in my opinion, charges shouldn’t have been brought.
