Nothing could dampen Miners Day volunteers, sponsors

On a cold, rainy Miners Day, our community and volunteers showed up in force to celebrate our town’s history and neighborly spirit.

On behalf of the Park City Rotary Club, I would like to thank the community for its support of our annual Miners Day event. The parade, Running of the Balls, and the full day of activities were a huge success.

We could not have done it without everyone’s participation and support. Thanks to Park City Municipal for providing a full day of support to every event–St. Mary’s Catholic Church’s delicious breakfast, Twilight Rotary’s Bark City 5K Run, and all the Main Street activities. Special thanks to the Park Silly Market staff for their event expertise and crucial support all day long — you sure know how to put on a party!

Thank you to everyone who purchased balls, entered a float in the parade, and to our incredibly generous sponsors — notably Protection Self Storage, Bowman-Carter Law, and Manscaped, among others. Your support made it possible to produce an event that generated tens of thousands of dollars for Park City Rotary’s community grants and scholarship programs.

Finally, we would like to thank the volunteers from Park City Rotary who put on a heartwarming community event even as our mountain town showed off its expertise at providing unpredictable weather! Your hard work and dedication made Miners Day a special event for everyone in our community.

Thank you again for your support!
