Snow Park Lodge plan makes sense

I read with interest the article “What’s the big fuss’ with Snow Park?” and I totally agree with Bruce Emerson’s comments.

As a condo owner in Deer Valley, I am excited about the possibility of an updated and upgraded Snow Park Lodge.

Change is always difficult, but I believe the Snow Park Lodge plan is well thought out and makes sense.

Although Snow Park is not as dated as Park City Mountain Resort, it will become more dated as time goes by.

With the addition of the Mayfair area, change and traffic are going to come to Park City and Deer Valley whether we like it or not.

I think it is best to go with the new Snow Park plan that will be a benefit to residents, skiers and tourists alike.

To think Alterra Mountain Co. is going to do something that will harm what (in my opinion) is the best ski resort in North America is being a bit reactionary and naïve.

As a member of the “silent majority,” I hope the Park City Council does what is best for all of us and approves Alterra’s plans.
