52 Utah products league-wide, as the NFL’s opening Sunday slate kicks off this weekend
The first Sunday slate of the 2023-24 NFL season kicks off Saturday morning, Sept. 9, with the Bengals vs. Browns and 49ers vs. Steelers games being featured first in nearby areas. Other featured matchups include the Packers vs. Bears and Cowboys vs. Giants games, the latter of which is NBC’s Sunday Night Football game of the week. Be on the lookout for any of the 52 Utah collegiate or high school products in the league, which include stars Fred Warner, Bobby Wagner and more.
Utes vanquish Weber State, prepare for UCLA contest Saturday
The Utah Utes defeated the in-state Weber State Wildcats Saturday, remaining undefeated on the season as they closed out nonconference play. The Utes did so once again without star QB Cam Rising, who they’ll hope can return from his ACL tear for their conference opener against UCLA Saturday.
