The Park City Miners boys’ lacrosse team started its spring break off on a high note with a big 10-9 win on Saturday over the highly-regarded Palo Verde team from Nevada.

It then took the rest of the week to nurse nagging injuries and perfect plays in daily practices; it’s now primed and ready for the homestretch of its season. The Miners are 6-4, but are past the difficult part of their schedule, and are looking to put a lock on the No. 1 seed going into the playoffs.

Coming up in the next week are three home games: Herriman on Thursday, April 24,at Dozier Field at 5 p.m., Centennial (Idaho) at the Quinn’s turf field on April 25 and Judge Memorial on April 30 at Dozier.

The game against the Judge Memorial Bulldogs will also be Senior Day, when all seniors and their families are recognized. That game will start at 6 p.m.
