Dam Train Race comes to Midway
The Dam Train Race will be held in Midway on Oct. 1. The event will start at the Soldier Hollow Train Depot, 1465 Stringtown Rd., and the race will begin at 7:30 a.m. Registration is open for individual runners.
The Dam Train Race is a 12-kilometer trail race, where the Heber Valley Railroad takes you to a secluded start line at the Deer Creek Dam. The race starts when the train whistle blows. You will enjoy running through the most stunning views the Wasatch Back has to offer!
Challengers will receive a wooden finisher’s medal to demonstrate their fortitude in conquering self and steam. Celebrate with fellow contenders after the race with music, giveaways and local vendors. The Heber Creeper Train will be present for photographs.
