Dryland Training at the PC MARC

The PC MARC is once again offering a special Dryland Training program for individuals seeking personal training in a high-energy group setting. The class, which is held Oct. 13 to Nov. 19, will include interval training that will use various areas of the fitness facility, including the track, weight area, free weights and class studio.

Dryland Training instructor Jessica Kelley spent 10 years as an alpine athlete on the U.S. Ski Team and has coached the Park City Ski Team. She also teaches a boot camp class at the PC MARC.

"Leading up to the holiday season, the class is designed to get people of all fitness levels in shape for the coming ski season and to keep them motivated during the holidays," Kelley explained. "I love all the outdoor activities Park City has to offer, from mountain biking to running to alpine and Nordic skiing. My goal is to incorporate all areas of fitness into the Dryland Training program, so we can excel at the outdoor recreation we are passionate about."

Participants can expect varied and challenging workouts that will leave them sore and hopefully motivated to keep coming back for more.

Dryland Training will be held at the PC MARC Oct. 13 to Nov. 19 on Mondays and Thursdays, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. The fee is $145 and deadline to register is Thursday, Oct. 9. Participants can register online at http://www.parkcityrecreation.org or call 435-615-5400.
