ELITEAM returns to Park City

USSA News Bureau

Aspiring young Olympians will have the opportunity to train at the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association’s Center of Excellence this June when ELITEAM Conditioning camp returns to Park City.

Created by two-time Olympian and World Championship medalist Doug Lewis and former World Cup racer Kelley Lewis, this year’s camp includes a new Europa Cup camp for athletes ages 8-11 and workout sessions with U.S. Ski Team’s Marco Sullivan and ELITEAM alumna Liz Stephen.

"As a U.S. Ski Team alum, Doug Lewis has done an amazing job with ELITEAM in providing motivation for hundreds of aspiring Olympians," said Luke Bodensteiner, executive vice president of athletics. "The USSA is happy to have ELITEAM back in Park City for a second year. It is a great opportunity for young athletes to experience our national team environment at the Center of Excellence with a program that incorporates the expertise of our national team high-performance staff."

The camp fee is $1,250 for World Cup (ages 11-14) and $800 for Europa Cup (ages 8-11). Cost includes instruction, training, housing, meals, snacks and the ELITEAM Training Notebook.

Spots are still available for both camps. Register at http://www.eliteam.com or contact Doug Lewis at 802-793-3078.
