Epic SchoolKids returns to Utah
Spring is in the air and free skiing is back in session with the Epic SchoolKids Utah Pack. Park City Mountain Resort recently announced that the Epic SchoolKids Utah Pack is returning for the 2016-2017 winter season. New this season, parents can enroll their kids online to make the process easier on Utah families. Enrollment has begun. Epic SchoolKids provides all Utah kindergarten through fifth graders the opportunity to access free skiing and snowboarding at the largest ski resort in the U.S. With 250 inches of snow to date and more than four weeks of pristine spring skiing conditions at the resort to look forward to, now is the time to start planning ahead for an epic 2016-2017 winter season.
"It is incredibly important that we continue to find ways to make snowsports accessible and sharing the experience of skiing and snowboarding with the next generation continues to be a top priority for us at Park City," said Bill Rock, the resort’s chief operating officer. "As the largest resort in the United States, we are thrilled to extend the Epic SchoolKids Pack to Utah students this season and to make it easier on parents by offering online registration. Our hope is that this program will help foster a lifelong connection to the outdoors and the mountains we love."
Launched in 2015 at Park City Mountain Resort, the Epic SchoolKids Utah Pack is a free program for Utah kindergarten through fifth graders that provides five free days of skiing or riding at the resort. All Utah students are eligible to enroll in the program regardless of their ability level. In addition to five free days, the program also includes one free first-timer ski or snowboarding lesson with equipment rental during the month of January. Utah families can begin enrolling their children today in Epic SchoolKids by downloading the registration form online and emailing the application and supporting documents to email@example.com. Along with Epic SchoolKids enrollment, Park City Mountain Resort announced that it will also begin selling its Epic Local Pass for the 2016-2017 season at the lowest guaranteed price and with the best spring benefits to guests who purchase early. Guests who purchase before April 10 will receive six buddy tickets — a discounted ticket that pass holders’ friends can use.
