Fast and Female Camp returns

Utah girls will have an opportunity to train with Olympians on Sunday, Oct. 4, when the Fast and Female Champ Chat returns to the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association’s Center of Excellence in Park City. The afternoon session for young girls ages 9 to 19 will feature workouts and inspirational stories, plus separate sessions for parents. Registration is now open and limited to 150 participants.
Among the stars leading the afternoon camp will be over a dozen Olympians, including double medalist Shannon Bahrke, World Champions Kikkan Randall and Jessie Diggins and a host of others.
Fast and Female is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the empowerment through sport of young women. partnering with female Olympians, the organization offers inspiring programming all over the world. Through its non-competitive and fun initiatives, Fast and Female strives to retain girls in the competitive sport of cross country.
"I’m proud to be one of the founding athletes of Fast and Female," Randall said. "As an Olympian and a World Champion, I love sharing my experiences and motivating young girls. It’s especially inspiring each year during our fall camp in Park City to see so many girls coming back and taking advantage of this opportunity."
Interested young girls and parents can register now at http://www.fastandfemale.com for just $30 for girls and $25 for parents. The program does sell out each year, so early registration is encouraged.
