Mason Gines, a senior from South Summit High School, traveled to Monroe, Utah, earlier in March to play in the 1A-2A State All-Star Game, sponsored by the Monroe Lions Club.
There was a three-point contest followed by a free-throw contest and a slam-dunk contest.
Gines won the slam-dunk contest with a perfect 360 dunk. Then the boys played their game and the 2A team beat the 1A team 122-105 in a great game.
Mason would like to thank All West Communications for sponsoring him.
