Miners boys golf dominates once again, sophomore Hardy leads the charge

The Miners Boys Golf Team dominated once again Thursday, this time at Park City Golf Course in their only home match this season. Park City posted an incredible, four-man team score of 288, with sophomore Rawson Hardy leading the charge with a five-under 66. The Miners now have two matches left in the regular season, before they head into region and state tournament play. Although the team is excited for the opportunities that exist, taking their process day-by-day, Head Coach George Murphy did admit, “I’m a little disappointed we’re in 4A because I like the competition (of 5A) … I think we’d be right up there with 5A (high-ranked teams) this year with where our kids are.”

The Braves really struggled to move the ball in this one, with their only points coming from an errant snap out the back of the end zone by the Beavers on a punt.
