The Miners Cross Country Teams are nearing the halfway points in their seasons, as they head down to Salt Lake City on Saturday for a meet in Sugarhouse. Both the boys and girls teams are being led by Steve Cuttitta, who shared the teams’ completely different situations this year: the boys are currently retooling following the loss of seven starting runners, while the girls have a few experienced runners who are looking to lead the charge towards another strong showing at the State meet. This State meet is a little over a month away on Oct. 24, following the Divisional meet on Oct. 10.
