The Park City Miners Girls Soccer Team won their 11th-straight game Wednesday afternoon, thrashing the Tooele Buffaloes 8-0. In what was their second, eight-goal win over the Buffaloes, the Miners extended their longest win streak in over a decade, but more importantly locked up the 4A Region 10 Title.

In their first year in the realigned region, Park City was able to capture their first title since 2016, then in 3A Region 10. They destroyed all competition so far, leaving the second-place Stansbury Stallions, who remain undefeated on their season outside of games against the Miners, two-and-a-half games back with only two games left on their season.

Park City will look to carry forth their incredible momentum, which now includes a first regional title since 2016, through the rest of their season. They have one more home, regular season matchup against the Murray Spartans, and then they’ll head into the State Tournament. The Miners have five State Titles in program history, with their last coming in 2005.
