The Miners volleyball team shut out the Cottonwood Colts Tuesday night, and advanced to 15-4 on their season. The win was Park City’s fifth-straight, and it has them sitting pretty atop their region. The nearest competition in 4A Region 10 remains the Stansbury Stallions, who the Miners have blanked twice already earlier in the season. Next up for Head Coach Matt Carlson’s squad is a tournament beginning Thursday, where they are currently slated to face Syracuse, Maple Mountain and Eagle. Park City will eventually return home next Thursday to take on the Tooele Buffaloes.
