PARK CITY MOUNTAIN RESORT

On Friday morning, PCMR was reporting a 60-inch base. The resort has received 172 inches of snow to date this season, with an inch of new snow in the past 24 hours. At PCMR, all 16 lifts were open Friday serving 115 of 116 runs (49 groomed), four parks, two pipes, and seven of nine bowls. CANYONS RESORT

At Canyons, 158 of 179 trails were open Friday (40 groomed), along with all five bowls. All 19 lifts were running. The resort is reporting 177 inches of snow so far this season, with a 44-inch base at mid-mountain and a 64-inch base at the summit, and an inch of new snow in the past 24 hours. DEER VALLEY RESORT

Deer Valley is reporting a 63-inch base, with two inches of new snow in the past 24 hours. All of the resort’s 21 lifts are running, serving all 100 runs and all seven bowls. UTAH OLYMPIC PARK

The Utah Olympic Park is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There are guided tours on the hour from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Museums are free to explore. The winter Comet Bobsled Rides and Rocket Skeleton Rides are now open for the winter season. Reservations are highly recommended. SOLDIER HOLLOW

Soldier Hollow, near Midway, offers cross-country skiing for beginners to experts on the site of the 2002 Olympics. The trails are open daily from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. On Friday, Soldier Hollow was reporting a 20-inch base and 11 groomed trails totaling 23K. Groomer’s choice is the Hollow. Soldier Hollow also has Utah’s longest (1,200-foot) tubing lanes, which come with lift service, lights and a sound system. MOUNTAIN TRAILS

Mountain Trails is reporting about 20K groomed Thursday, Feb. 21. According to the grooming report, the last pitch on the pipeline connector between Ability Way and Silver Quinn is no longer skiable. BASIN RECREATION

Basin Rec is reporting good conditions, with all trails groomed Tuesday except the 5K XC trails, Ecker Hill Middle School and the Woods at Parley’s Lane. WHITE PINE TOURING

GORGOZA TUBING PARK

Gorgoza Park, owned and operated by Park City Mountain Resort, is scheduled to run through April 7. The scheduled hours of operation are: Saturday and Sunday, noon to 8 p.m.; Monday through Friday 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be extended hours on April 5-7 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Ticket are $8 for one ride, $22 for two hours and $33 for four hours. WASATCH-CACHE NATIONAL FOREST

The Kamas Ranger District maintains several cross-country ski and snowmobile trails in the Uinta Mountains east of Kamas. The 5-mile groomed Beaver Creek Trail parallels S.R. 150 and is accessible from a number of parking areas along the highway. Dogs are allowed on this trail only on odd-numbered days.
