Soldier Hollow ski sale returns

With Soldier Hollow’s annual cross-country ski sale just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about "new" gear. Gently used equipment will be on sale at discounted prices Oct. 31 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Nov. 1 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Soldier Hollow Ski Resort.

Skate and classical gear for adults and juniors will be available including boots, poles and wax-less skis. Soldier Hollow ski instructors will be on hand to help you choose the right equipment for you. Discounted season and ten-punch ski passes also will be sold.

This event is organized by the Soldier Hollow Legacy Foundation. The Foundation was formed in 1999 and operates the Olympic Legacy facility on a year around basis. For more information about Soldier Hollow, call 435-654-2002.

As an added bonus, Forest Service Christmas tree permits will be sold both days during the ski sale starting at 8 a.m.

Also, mark your calendar! The 2014 Soup and Soldier Hollow Fundraiser will be Friday, Nov. 7 from 6-8 p.m. at the lodge.
