5-on-5 basketball league
Basin Recreation and Park City Recreation are joining forces to provide a 5-on-5 coed adult basketball league for players 18 and older. Games will be played at the Fieldhouse and PC MARC. Games will be 60 minutes long and each team will play one game per night. The league will run on Thursdays, from Dec. 6 to March 7, 2019, starting at 6 p.m. Teams cost $550 to register, plus a $100 refundable team forfeit fee, or individuals can register onto a free agent team for $50 per person. Youth World Cup
On Friday, Dec. 14, and Saturday, Dec. 15, the Utah Olympic Park will host the IBSF Para Bobsled World Cup and Youth Series. The races are open to the public. For more information go to utaholympiclegacy.org.
Wasatch Citizen's Series
The Wasatch Citizen's Series cross-country ski races are scheduled to kick off on Dec. 15 at Soldier Hollow. For information about registration, cost and times go to http://www.utahnordic.com/wcs.
Mini & Me Boot camp
Mini & Me Boot Camp is a parent-child class that focuses on a variety of activities to promote a healthy and active lifestyle. Children in grades K through five and their parents are welcome. Jr. Jazz basketball
Basin Recreation is hosting a Jr. Jazz basketball league for third- through ninth-grade girls, and third- through eighth-grade boys, starting with evaluations on Dec. 10.
The youth recreational league will run from Jan. 2 to March 1. Each division plays twice a week at one of the local gyms, including the Fieldhouse. To learn more and to register, visit basinrecreation.org.

Winter pass sale

Adult volleyball tournament
Basin Recreation is hosting a two-day 6-on-6 volleyball tournament at the Fieldhouse on Dec. 14-15. Each team will participate in pool play matches on Friday evening, then a single-elimination tournament on Saturday. To learn more and to register, visit basinrecreation.org.
Holiday break camp
Basin Recreation is offering full-day camps over the holiday break from Dec. 26-28, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Campers will play games in the Fieldhouse gym, plus arts and crafts, and swimming at Ecker Hill. The camp is geared toward kids ages 6-12. Early drop-off and late pick up is available for no additional charge. Learn more and register at basinrecreation.org.
Free punch pass for locals
Silver Mountain Sports Club is offering a free five-punch pass for Park City locals for a limited time. The pass is all-inclusive at both locations and all fitness classes, including yoga, spin, circuit training, barre, butts & guts, pain-free posture, ski conditioning, TRX, pilates, and others. Discounted Silver Mountain memberships
Silver Mountain Sports Club is now offering temporary winter memberships at a discounted rate. Winter memberships run through April 15. Sign up is available at both locations on Gold Dust Lane in Prospector or Ute Boulevard in Kimball Junction. Call with any questions: 435-649-6670.
The Basin Recreation Fieldhouse has a golf simulator available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $10 per person per hour with a three-person max (includes simulator, driving range, and chipping area) or $6 per person per hour (includes driving range and chipping area only – no simulator). Reservations can be made by calling the Basin Recreation Fieldhouse Front Desk at 435-655-0999.
